| BABBS MILL | B37 6NU takes you to the official parking at Tudor Grange Academy. There is parking for 40 cars at Babbs Mill park on Fordbridge Road if you get there early, parking on Fordbridge Road is permitted, both very close to the run start. |
| BANBURY | Summer and Winter routes. Summer route starts on grass then onto narrow paths, finish on grass. A couple of small bridges to cross where runners will be going in both directions. There is a free car park located on Grimsbury Green. Enough for 35 cars and when its full you can park on the road. Alternative pay and display parking (.80p per hour) is available at the leisure centre. |
| BEDWORTH | Arrive early and FREE parking is available at Miners
Welfare Park then it's only a 50yard walk to the start. Alternative parking a short walk away at Spitalfields 1 or Spitalfields2. £1 for 60 minutes. |
| LEICESTER VICTORIA PARK | Post
Code LE1 7RH will take you to University Road. From here turn right
into Wyggeston Drive (Opposite the cemetery, and adjacent to
Dannielle Brown Sports Centre). You will find barriers accross the
road. Press the intercom button, tell them you love parkrun
(or similar !) and you will be able to use the car park within
the
University for free. Street View Here Parking also available at De Monfort Hall £1 for two hours. From there its just a short walk past the War Memorial to the parkrun start. |
| MARKET HARBOROUGH | Narrow paths make it a bit congested when lapping slower runners. Watch out for the three foot sheer drop into the River Welland ! Two Free car parks, with very limited spaces, so get there early. "The Commons" pay and display car park is a short walk away, use post code LE16 9DB |
| RUGBY CLIFTON | Post Code CV21 3SD will take you to Butlin Road. Best not to park on this road as it is only narrow AND it annoys the residents. Can be difficult to get out afterwards as well ! Head to the end of the road and park in Whinfield Recreational Park. |
| ROSLISTON | The
parkrun is at Rosliston Forestry Centre. A nice one lap course although
you do run some paths twice, but in the opposite direction ! Uphill start and one hill at about half way. Car parking is charged at £1 to parkrunners which covers you until 10.30am, a parkrun barcode is required to be displayed alongside your pay and display ticket. Make a day of it and pay £3 parking. |
| MONSAL TRAIL | Start
is approx 50 yards from Hassop Train Station £2.50 for 2 hours car
parking. Flat(ish) out and back run along Monsal Trail, a disused
railway line, mainly on compacted gravel. Similar
to the Kenilworth Greenway, but thats before a load of self important
dickheads, otherwise known as politicians decided they wanted a new
train set to play with. |
